Got Headache!?

I found a new way of dealing with my migraines without medicine.. Thank God!!

(And no it is not praying the pain away, for all you God, Jesus, Jewish, Christian and Religion hating Folks)

It all started with my forgetfulness; I left all pain meds behind and my Tins device was not an option. Driving along in immense traffic, I started to breathe slowly and then meditated on relaxation points I learn years ago. It Worked!!

Meditation and Breathing.. even when the noise or intense work is in play!!

Look it up! There are many books and articles about it. 🥰

Cheesey Crab Poppers 🦀

Cheesy Crab Poppers. They're crispy, cheesy, and have just a light kick to 'em, making them the perfect party appetizer.

What You'll Need
1 (8-1/2-ounce) package corn muffin mix
1 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 (10-ounce) container lump crab meat, drained well
2 cups vegetable oil
What to Do
In a large bowl, combine corn muffin mix, bread crumbs, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, butter, egg, milk, scallions, salt and cayenne pepper; mix well. Gently stir in crab meat until combined. Form mixture into 1-1/2-inch balls.
In a deep skillet or soup pot over medium-high heat, heat oil until hot. Add several crab balls to oil, making sure not to overcrowd. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Place on paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat with remaining crab balls. Serve warm.

GOURMET

Chocolate Truffle Tart
Active Time 20 min
Total Time 7 hr
This tart has a creamy, almost puddinglike center. We used bittersweet chocolate so the ganache filling wouldn't be too sweet. Choosing a quality brand results in more well-rounded flavor and even silkier texture.

Ingredients
Makes 10 servings
For crust
28 chocolate wafers such as Nabisco Famous, finely ground in a food processor (1 1/2 cups)
3/4 stick (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted and cooled completely
For filling
1/2 lb fine-quality bittersweet chocolate (no more than 60% cacao if marked), coarsely chopped
3/4 stick (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Garnish: unsweetened cocoa powder for sprinkling
Special Equipment
an 8-inch (20-cm) round springform pan
Preparation
Make crust:
Step 1
Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 350°F. Wrap a sheet of foil over bottom of springform pan (in case of leaks). Lightly butter side of pan.

Step 2
Stir together ground wafers and butter in a bowl until combined, then pat mixture evenly onto bottom of pan and 1 1/2 inches up side. Bake until crust is slightly puffed, about 10 minutes, then cool completely in pan on a rack, about 15 minutes. Leave oven on.

Make filling while crust cools:
Step 3
Melt chocolate and butter in a 2-quart heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth, then remove from heat and cool 5 minutes.

Step 4
Whisk together eggs, cream, sugar, salt, and vanilla in a bowl. Whisk chocolate mixture into egg mixture until combined well.

Assemble and bake tart:
Step 5
Pour filling into cooled crust and rap pan once on counter to eliminate any air bubbles. Bake until filling 1 inch from edge is set and slightly puffed but center trembles slightly when pan is gently shaken, 20 to 25 minutes. (Center will continue to set as it cools.)

Step 6
Cool tart completely in pan on a rack, about 2 hours. Chill, uncovered, until center is firm, about 4 hours. Remove side of pan and sprinkle with cocoa to serve.

Cooks' notes:
·Tart can be chilled up to 3 days. Cover loosely after tart is completely chilled (covering before may cause condensation).
·Crust, without filling, can be made 1 day ahead and kept, covered, at room temperature.

Full Circle!!

As one of the Passions In My Life comes to fruition; a final piece of the puzzle was prophetically reveal to me today via a sermon I heard today. It was as simple as Adam & Eve and Deadly Sins. It encompassed my thoughts and feelings about how their "actions" in the Garden of Eden has affected how LIFE "could have been" which gave me an overwhelming sense of Calm and security.

The phrases: You will be made Wiser and I Don't want it; I Trust You came to mind. Also, You've done NOTHING to make me Betray You and I wonder what Paradise would have been like if not for them.

Even if I wasn't able to be born.. The Perfect Couple. Kids or Not.

The words and lyrics encouraged by this event were made directly for the final song/piece to my cd. It will be placed last on the "A" side of work.

"So like Me!" {The Love Song} (A) and "UnLike Me!" {The Hate Song} (B) are now ready to go forward in a collection I've entitled "Full Circle".

Easter! New Beginnings!!

This text stood out to to me:

Christ’s resurrection means your past, no matter what it is, is not unforgiveable. You cannot walk so far away from God that He cannot reach you.

This is..

So True!!

:Remembering that Spring means Renewal. Even when we feel as though there is nothing left, only an END!

It is said that the Past is just that..The Past. It can and should be Left Behind!!
Despair can be So Lonely and Demoralizing. Placing ourselves in a repressive state, we ponder and concentrate on what was and might have been.

We should Focus on what we can AND should do to go on and Live Life Joyously!!!
Look AROUND! There's plenty there to find pleasure, gratitude and vision to keep us moving Forward!!

The Pain is Real!! The Struggle, Yes, it is Real!!
Hang in there!!

God Has this...Just Trust Him!!!

Excuse me for a moment ..TWO POINTS!!

I feel Mentally and Physically "ILL" today..

It Still Amazes Me at times, how people can be so "Evil" and ignorantly "Hateful" to others!!

MANY of these people they don't even know Anything about them!!

They may be NOT LIKE YOU but; as my mother would always say, "They didn't MAKE themselves" and can ONLY Do or Be what Nature or the World will allow.

If they find JOY in Who they are and are Not Hurting you "Intentionally" .. I Wish that people would simply LET THEM BE!!

I'M DONE!!

Alone, Not Lonely....Finally Finished This Masterpiece!!!!

Verse 1:

Taken Away

Still innocent
Bright and Healthy
Biology was his Fault (Cracks in the makeup)

I'd never thought about it,
in That Way.

Verse 2:

I sure would like, or "Wish"
to be able to have a moment today.

Haven't been feeling good lately.
My "Climatic" end just began in a way.

I feel a need for a doctor,
Oh, Somebody, help me find a doctor.
Where is that Doctor?!

Bridge:

This wait and wanting is so "Cold"....
How Dare him to leave me all alone,
down here;
Alone and getting Old!

Chorus:

If only they'd seen his Soul!
He'd be here right with me today!
Moving On,
Living Right,
and Going on Our Way!

NO....I'm Not Sad
Times we shared left me Glad
NO....I'm Not Sad
Shared Love Keeps Me Glad

I'm

Alone, Not Lonely!!!!
